Day 01:

representative will attend to you on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). From here IHPL will be assisting your transfer to Gangtok, nearly 135 kilometers which is a 4.5 to 5 hour drive.

Nestled at a height of 1670 meters (5480 feet), Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. The beautiful hill station is a land of tranquility, adventure, monasteries, mystic rituals & festivals and natural beauty. The hill station boasts of picturesque views of snowcapped peaks with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies. Romantic yet adventurous, it's a perfect place to start a memorable tour of North Sikkim.

Check into hotel for an Over Night stay at Gangtok. The Evening is free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Check out the beautiful handicrafts. Be back to the hotel on time. Take ample rest in your hotel room and enjoy the leisure activities of the hotel property.

Day 02: Gangtok sightseeing

During the flowering season, exhibitions and competitions are held here. Sikkim has around 4000 species of flowering plants. Hanuman tok situated at hilltop has a Hanuman Mandir and during the clear weather Kanchendzonga range can be viewed at its best. Institute of Tibetology houses large number of Buddhist scriptures as well acts as museum. Tashiview point provides an excellent view of Mount Kanchendzonga and far-flung North Sikkim Villages. Telescopic view of mountains is available. Chorten stupa is situated near Tibetology. Banjhakri falls has statues of samanist/nature worshipper priest

2nd day:- Hop off to Tsomgo Lake, and seek Baba Harbhajan’s blessings and Nathula china border. Wake up to a beautiful day, have a filling breakfast & proceed for the sightseeing tour. Set off on your excursion to Tsomgo Lake near Gangtok. Known for changing colours, the Tsomgo Lake is amongst the most visited tourist attraction in Gangtok. Further, visit the famous Baba Mandir built in fond memory of Late Major Baba Harbhajan Singh. Nathula pass and Return to your hotel and end this tiring day of your Gangtok-Darjeeling holiday with a revitalising dose of sleep.

Day 03: city tour of Gangtok and transfer to Darjeeling*

Explore the enticing tourist attractions of Gangtok and experience the true essence of this wonderland.

Post a fresh & delicious breakfast, proceed for a half day city tour of Gangtok. First up on this day of your Darjeeling-Gangtok trip itinerary is a visit to the Dro-dul Chorten Stupa. Next, visit the Research Institute of Tibetology, and Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom.

In the evening, transfer to Darjeeling. Breathe in the delicious aroma of tea as you ride through the winding roads to this charming little hill town on your Sikkim Darjeeling holiday.

Upon reaching your hotel, complete your hassle-free check-in formalities and head to your room. The third day of your exciting Sikkim Darjeeling tour comes to an end with some refreshing sleep at the hotel.

Day 04: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

Early morning(3 am) drive to Tiger Hill (8500 fts) for sunrise view over the mountains. View 4 Giants of Himalaya i.e. Mt.Everest,Mt.Makalu,Mt.Lhotse and Mt.Khangchendzonga (all above 8000 mtrs) from Tiger Hill. Drive back to Town. Visit Ghoom Monastery (Gelug order of Tibetan Buddhism) and Batasia Loop(Gorkha war memorial) Back to Hotel for Breakfast and recess (1 hr). After breakfast go for a mixed point sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Happy Valley Tea Estate and Factory. Free & Leisure time or walk around the Mall (Chowrasta)

Day 05: DARJEELING TO NJP/BAGDOGRA (90 KMS/3-4 HRS)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast transfer to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for your train / flight to onward destination.
